Songs can take shape when they are ready and not always when you are. I have wrestled with this song since the beginning of the year and it’s gone through many different iterations. At the end of the day I had to get out of my own way and let the emotion guide the way. Scary stuff. Alas I bring you Fade Away. It’s more about a journey through darkness towards hope above everything else. It’s an emotion.
